we celebrated halloween during wednesday's art class making trick-or-treat buckets
these amazingly cheap and easy lanterns!
the little pumpkin on the right is the one we made in class.
the tall ones i made today while the kids were at my mom's.
these will be for the halloween party on sunday!
the girls punched two holes through the metal screwtops and tied a piece of string
across the top to be..... held.... like a.... swinging purse?
sorry i fail at describing this but it is awesome!

COLOURED TISSUE PAPER
thrift shop or dollar store
be sure not to use the streamers because the texture
is problematic despite how awesome my big pumpkin looks.
WHITE LIQUID/CRAFT GLUE
dollar store or drugstore wherever
cut or rip up pieces of tissue paper. next, pour out the glue onto an old yogurt lid and use your paintbrush to cover the jar with glue. place a piece of tissue paper onto the jar and watch how easily the paper adheres
to the jar. gently dip paintbrush into glue and paint over top the tissue paper, this helps flatten the wrinkles and ensures better adherence. add paper as needed, two layers is usually good. when you are done, cut out face pieces or make up your own pattern!
also just finished the gift bag buttons
and the halloween scene stamps!
