coco NUTS! and other yummy things
alternative to oatmeal and cereal? QUINOA with yogurt, fruit, and agave.
i normally don't like the taste of fresh cooked quinoa. the yogurt and fruit completely disguise the taste and all you get is a nice crunchy texture and a great source of protein!
1. the WOWBUTTER is delicious. sometimes i even opt for it instead of my crunchy pb.
2. the jam is delicious. organic, fair-trade and ON SALE i bought blackberry and apricot, but they also have pomegranate, mango, and blood orange among the usual berry flavours.
3. COCONUT DREAM i have been on a coconut binge the last few weeks. i also tried
which i had high hopes for and fell flat. Coconut Dream (IMO) tastes way better.
i have also been closing my eyes at the till when buying Blue Monkey Coconut Water at my lunch breaks at work. it is so yummy and refreshing!
and this Coconut Bliss ice-cream is very much exactly that: COCONUT BLISS
Organic, Vegan, Soy Free, Dairy Free, Gluten Free
INGREDIENTS: Organic coconut milk, organic agave syrup, organic dried coconut, organic coconut extract, organic fair-trade vanilla extract.
they also have other flavours like vanilla and amaretto but seriously, why ruin a good thing? if you can't appreciate the NAKE COCONUT then you are not COOL. and that's what it's all about, isn't it!
and i don't need to talk anymore about how addicted we are to KREMA & LIBERTE coconut yogurt...
and while we are on the topic of food, i did happen to come across a really excellent blog called NOM NOM PALEO which essentially is about eating on the Paleo Diet. the meals this lady puts together make my mouth water. they look like the coziest of home cooked meals, warm, savoury, and made with TLC! Taryn posted a bunch of recipes she's been whipping together which just happened to include this delicious looking
Cauliflower Fried Rice from Nom Nom Paleo!
chatting with Taryn tonight, she also raved about
(which she has renamed "heaven in my mouth")
2 ripe bananas
1 heaping tbsp almond butter
gonna give it a go with the WOWbutter for cocobear!
